How familiar are you with the nunchucks? Well, perhaps you know them as Bruce Lee’s iconic weapons.

He used them in his movies when he finished off his enemies. But, those were the movies.

Do you know that these are real combat weapons? Yes, they have been used for fighting and self defense.

In fact, there are some popular instances where they proved to be handy fighting weapons.

Let’s go back to the 10th century. In ancient China, it was used in a historic warfare. A Chinese emperor used it as a weapon to fight the Mongolians.

His troops learned to fight with the weapon. In the end, they won the battle. However, I am not focusing on that battle.

I am rather focusing on a WWE fight today. In a popular match, a wrestler used the nunchucks to defeat his opponent. Here is the detail of that brutal fight:

The Battle Begins……

On Extreme Rules, 2016, an Asylum Match took place between Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho. The battle took place inside an asylum.

The bell rang and the battle started with two wrestlers taking on each other on a special occasion. They quickly ran into each other and the match official was underway.

Ambrose is Down and Out

Throughout the earlier phase of the battle, Chris Jericho dominated. It seemed as if he was all over Ambrose.

Ambrose had no answer to this brutal attack by Jericho. He was down and out in the earlier part of the battle.

The Nunchucks are Pulled Out

Since Jericho was dominating the fight, Ambrose had to do something extraordinary to get back in the match.

He quickly pulled out the nunchucks and this was the turning point. He used the nunchaku to beat the hell out of Jericho. In the end, he overcame Jericho and this time around, Jericho was down.

Ambrose Wins the Battle; Thanks to Nunchucks

Dean Ambrose displayed his skills of using the nunchucks. At the end of the battle, Ambrose emerged victorious, thanks to the incredible weapon and his skills to handle it perfectly.

It looked as if Bruce Lee was back in action. So, this is how this fighting ninja weapon helped a wrestler register a win over his opponent!
